Hi! I'm Joseph Biay.

Originally from the Philippines, I moved to Melbourne, Australia when I was 9 years old.
Growing up, my interests were primarily towards the creative arts. Whether it be drawing, painting or music, my hobbies eventually took over all the free time I had. I began to develop new techniques as I continued to put in hours and hours of work into the creative side of me. Most of my childhood and teenage years were spent with a pencil in hand, drawing the days away...

Once I felt confident with my art style, I began uploading it to social media. To my surprise, I received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback. This escalated to the point where my friends and online users would ask me to draw portraits for them.
So… I took them up on the challenge.

At this stage, my work was not distributed for profit. It served as an opportunity for me to expand my skills and knowledge and gradually build an online portfolio for visitors to enjoy.
As I felt more comfortable with traditional arts, I began to experiment with digital editing tools and software. This was the push I needed to get me out of my comfort zone and onto an entirely new platform. The hardest challenge was learning the functions of each feature. But once clips are added and a story has been created, a similar sense of creativity from drawing had become instantly recognisable. Behind the mechanics of digital editing tools lay an opportunity for any artist to express their own style beyond just a piece of paper.

Eventually, I decided to turn this hobby into a profession.

Every client, every project and every shoot is a chance for me to learn, develop and achieve greater things with what I love to do.
